This project included the demolition and reconstruction of an asphalt/concrete pavement aircraft apron around Terminal 4 at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Construction of this airside project consisted of eight separate phases, coordinated with the construction of Terminal 4 West, Terminal 4 East, and the demolition of existing Concourse H. The work began in December 2013 and finished March 2019. The scope of work also included installation of a concrete retaining wall, a concrete screen wall, excavation, underground water main, underground sanitary sewer, electrical, communication, fencing, security gate relocation, tree/landscape planting and relocation, and pavement markings.
