Project Description

Relocation of Runway 7R/25L (11,095' x 200') at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), constructed 56 feet to the south to provide separation for the subsequent construction of a center taxiway. 

The project consisted of a Portland cement concrete (PCC) runway and taxiway pavement, asphalt concrete (AC) shoulders, airfield lighting and signage, structural upgrades over the Sepulveda Tunnel, drainage and utility improvements, relocation/upgrade of HAVAI DS, and modifications at runway-taxiway intersections.
