This project consisted of the precasting and replacement of bridge decking, upgrading of the bridge's necklace lighting, relocating the fiber optic system, painting, removal and disposal of the exiting bridge decking, and replacement of the existing moveable barrier system. Since this bridge is the major artery between Rockland and Westchester counties in New York, all deck replacement work needed to be done at night with the stipulation that the bridge be completely open to traffic by daybreak.
