Perini Management Services performed all of the significant construction activities for this project following the termination of the original contractor at an early stage. The project consisted of the complete rebuild and retrofit of the existing building and construction of a corner wing to connect all wings in a rectangular layout. Shortly after taking over the project, it was determined that the work that had been placed had significant defects, and all of the plumbing, concrete, foundations and walls had to be removed and redone. The scope also included site work and renovation of the interior courtyard area.
