The 440,000-square-foot facility contains high-end teaching and administrative support space, BSL-2 wet research labs, an animal vivarium, and the Methodist Institute for Technology, Innovation and Education physician training center, complete with four operating rooms and 18 surgical device training suites, a cyclotron, and imaging.
