A 373,000-square-foot expansion and renovation to the existing facility. The work included a 288,000-square-foot, eight-story, 296-room hotel tower, 85,000 square feet of meeting and convention space including a ballroom, expanded spa area, pools, and design-build of a three-story, 262-space parking structure. The expansion was completed on an aggressive 12-month schedule. The largest construction challenge encountered was working around an already thriving casino resort - crews had to carefully coordinate with hotel management to work around scheduled events.
