Situated on 19 acres next to Louisiana Boardwalk Shopping Center, the resort features a 30,000-square-foot single-level gaming floor with more than 1,300 slot machines and 46 table games as well as the Margaritaville trademarked “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere” bar. The project included a 396-room, 18-story hotel with 2,500 square feet of meeting space, a modern fitness center, spa, and a tropically-landscaped pool deck complete with pool, Jacuzzi, entertainment area, and outdoor dining and bar area. There are multiple dining venues including a 325-seat buffet, a 400-seat entertainment-filled Margaritaville Restaurant, and a riverfront fine dining seafood and steak restaurant. There is also a 900-seat performance hall, complete with a VIP balcony room where headline entertainment performs in an intimate setting. The performance hall also serves as a nightclub.
