Project Description

Located next to the existing Foxwoods Casino Resort and connected by a moving walkway, the project included a 30-story, 826-room hotel tower; a 4,000-seat theater; convention and meeting space; gaming; restaurants; retail; and a parking garage. The hotel tower, designed to blend with the existing facilities, has top-of-the-line amenities and includes a 21,000-square-foot spa. The performance theater, with acoustics, can accommodate everything from concerts and sporting events to off-Broadway shows. The 50,000-square-foot column-free ballroom is the largest in the Northeast and provides advanced technology and adaptable rooms to accommodate meetings and functions of any scale. The precast self-park garage accommodates 2,900 cars. The low-rise structural steel portion of the facility is faced in plaster, stone and glass, and the cast-in-place concrete tower is clad in a glass and metal curtain wall, the first of its kind to be fully manufactured in China for installation in the U.S.
