Two years after constructing the Pechanga Resort and Casino, Tutor Perini completed the 415,000-square-foot Phase II, which included a three-level casino expansion featuring additional gaming space, a two-story sports restaurant, nightclub, beacon bar that is open to the roof, a multi-cultural food court, a 3,200-space, five-level parking garage, and 1,000-space below-grade valet parking facility. A central plant and electric substation were also included. Everything remained open during construction, so to ensure safety, the project was built in phases. Tutor Perini coordinated approximately 700 construction workers in a tight area with casino patrons.
