Project Description

The first phase of Westgate City Center encompasses over 600,000 square feet of shell space which houses office, retail, restaurants and entertainment venues in seven single-story buildings and two 4-story buildings with one level of underground parking. Included is a line-up of cafes, bistros and martini hotspots, an interactive water park for children, a two-acre water feature that includes animated fountain displays, and surface parking. The project was constructed around the existing Glendale Arena and work had to be coordinated with arena events and traffic flows. Structural steel deliveries for the nine buildings were coordinated on a daily basis. The project team coordinated the completion on schedule by working closely with the numerous tenant improvement contractors.
