Project Description

The 2,050,000-square-foot resort and convention center contains 1,406 guest rooms and suites spread out in two 5-story wings and a central 8-story atrium, the signature component of the hotel. The facility also includes 700,000 square feet of convention space. The exhibition hall, meeting, pre-function and ballroom space is provided through corridors leading over and across the outdoor swimming pools. Built on a 65-acre site, three glazed atria cover four acres of themed Floridian environments: St. Augustine, the Everglades and Key West. Numerous water designs include underwater caves, wetlands, a marina with an authentic shrimp boat, and geological formations, bridges and boardwalks.
