Project Description

Rehabilitation of five electrical substations in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, following the 2010 earthquake, including testing existing equipment, procuring five transformers, and relocating eight others that were already owned by the Haiti electrical utility. The work also included repairs to perimeter fencing and substation buildings and installation of SCADA systems. A stringent safety training program was implemented for the local unskilled laborers that resulted in zero safety incidents.
