Project Description
Nagelbush Mechanical performed the complete plumbing scope including concessions and suites. This 37,000-seat ballpark consists of approximately 967,000 square feet of constructed area and includes an enclosed, operable roof system. In the open ballpark configuration, the operable roof panels park over a grand plaza, creating an entertainment entry district. When the roof and outfield are retracted, the interior space transforms and the seating terraces become open to the sky.
The drainage and storm water collection was very large and presented a few challenges, including coordination of the drainage collection system with the roof structure and concealment of large rain water leaders within the poured columns. Since the building had a retractable roof, there was also a complete collection system serving the field and seating concourse.
