The first retractable roof stadium to be built in Houston has a seating capacity of 41,574 including 5,095 club-level seats and 63 luxury suites. The site is located on the original location of Union Station, Houston’s main railroad station, which was built in 1909. The terminal building was incorporated into the design of the facility and houses the Astros' front office as well as restaurants, conference facilities and gift shop.
