Project Description

The addition created 8,815 seats- 7,076 grandstand seats, 1,155 Scoreboard Club seats, 236 loge seats, 22 suites with 288 seats, 60 field-level suite seats, and ADA compliant seating. A non-seated, field-level area, The Gridiron, provides club-like, high-end amenities and the visiting team locker room. A high-definition video board, among the largest in college athletics, was erected. The concourse under the west stands was renovated with the addition of four high-capacity elevators, more restrooms and concession facilities and a brick façade. For media, a compound allowing network broadcast trucks to connect to stadium equipment via underground cable runs was established. This project included over 65,000 feet of plumbing/piping, 222,000 pounds of duct work/sheet metal, 25,000 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete, 1,685 cubic yards of structural pre-cast concrete, 2,800 cubic yards of architectural pre-cast concrete, 180,000 CMU blocks, 2,500 tons of rebar, 650 tons of structural steel, 930,000 feet of electrical wire; and 500,000 feet of communications wire.
