Project Description

This project’s construction provides preservation of a right of way for Amtrak’s future Gateway project. The right of way is an encasement beneath New York City’s development of the Hudson Yards. Included is 68,000 cubic yards of excavation and the support thereof (post-tensioned rock anchors); 6,500 tons of steel reinforcing; 30,000 cubic yards of concrete; and electrical and mechanical utilities.
