Project Description

This project’s construction provides preservation of a right-of-way for Amtrak’s future Gateway project. The right-of-way is an encasement beneath New York City’s development of Hudson Yards. Included is 68,000 cubic yards of excavation and the support thereof (post-tensioned rock anchors); 6,500 tons of steel reinforcing; 30,000 cubic yards of concrete; and electrical and mechanical utilities.
